Council Meetings
Full Council meetings take place in Whimple Victory Hall, starting at 7pm, usually on the third Monday of every month except August. However, sometimes this can change due to Bank Holidays or Councillor availability.
Extraordinary meetings of the Council are called on the first Monday of the month, when necessary, to consider any planning applications that have come forward from the Local Planning Authority and any other matters that can't wait to the next Full Council meeting. The meetings take place at Whimple Victory Hall, starting at 7pm. However sometimes this may change due to Bank Holidays and Councillor availability.
Public Participation
Members of the public are encouraged to attend Council meetings to raise issues in person for a maximum of 10 minutes. Councillors may ask questions for clarification but will not enter into a discussion or respond to the issues raised at the same meeting. Should it be felt necessary Councillors will schedule an agenda item for a future meeting to address the topic.
If there is a topic you would liked discussed at a Parish Council Meeting please email the Clerk at clerk@whimpleparishcouncil.gov.uk and request for it to be added to the next Parish Council Meeting's Agenda.
